Parent asks about grade levels for free school supplies

The Answer: School supplies are free for ALL students, Academic Dean Phyllis Curry assures

An Adair County parent asks:
"There are rumors that no school supplies need to be purchased for any Adair County students this year, and that the district is supplying them. On the district website there’s no mention of this, and of all the school websites only ACPC has a posting up about not needing to buy any supplies. Has it been announced that ALL student supplies will be supplied by the district, or is it only for ACPC?" -CK
Thanks, CK, for the question. Adair County Schools Academic Dean Phyllis provided the answer: School supplies are free for all students, pre-school through 12, in the Adair County School District. There will be no need for parents to shop for the items. The money to pay for the supplies was approved unanimously by the Adair County School Board - Chairman Floyd Burton (Div 4), and members Terry Harvey(1)m Quinn Lasley, Lisa Burton (3), and Mike Harris (5).
