Plans underway for 3rd Annual Re-Visit Knifley homecoming/festival

By Debbie Cowan

Plans are underway for the 3rd annual Revisit Knifley homecoming and festival. The festival will take place September 9 and 10, 2016, in the Knifley community. A variety of activities are being planned including a pancake breakfast, car and tractor show, games and activities for kids, concerts and a fireworks show.

Committee members are actively seeking vendors to set-up booths on Saturday, September 10. They would like to have a variety of vendors as they anticipate that another large crowd will visit the festival again this year. For additional information about securing a vendor booth at Revisit Knifley, contact Gayla Baker at 270-789-0013 or Phillis and Lisa Greer at 270-465-4971. The Revisit Knifley Planning Committee meets each Thursday night at 6pmCT, at the Knifley Area Volunteer Fire Department, 6130 Elkhorn Road, Knifley. Anyone Who that would like to volunteer their time or learn more about the festival is invited to attend the meetings. - Debbie Cowan
