How do you deal with loss in the 8th decade? This is in response to Comments re photo 67526 Frank Dickerson On keeping the home ties who wrote last week, happy to discover Knifley schoolmates out and about, and of keeping his ties to home. Question: How do you deal with loss in the 8th decade? Mom, also in her 8th decade, said recently after hearing of another peer who'd passed away, "I think I'll just get the phone book and begin calling to see if ANY of my friends are still alive." What's the best way to keep from sinking into depression when you experience one loss after another?
