Egypt Christian on mission in the Dominican Republic this week

Adair County's Egypt Christian Church currently has a mission team serving in the Dominican Republic. They chose to serve through Louisville's GO Ministries, a nonprofit organization with a 4 of 4-stars rating from Charity Navigator. GO Ministries serves thousands in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Mongolia, and urban America.

Churches serve primarily "through church planting, nutrition centers, medical clinics, sports outreach, primary schools, ongoing training, water purification projects, and kingdom businesses."

GO Ministries is built through Partnerships in Ministry with churches, businesses and individuals and through local leaders.

It serves as a catalyst for mutual transformation as it strengthens Christian community on both sides of the Partnership. Every year, over one thousand volunteers travel to the Dominican Republic and Haiti on partnership development trips, making a difference.

Dana Walker and Robbie Bell sent the information and group photo as they departed early Monday, July 5, to serve in the communities of Hoya del Caimito, Hoyo de Bartola and LA Moaca through their work on construction projects and VBS.
