Aletta Kay Shofner Johns of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Oscar W. Shofner and Alma Sidebottom Shofner, was born August 23, 1964, in Taylor County, KY. She died at 9:15 A.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in Campbellsville surrounded by her loving family. Age: 51 Per Aletta's wishes, cremation was chosen and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Aletta Kay Shofner Johns of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Oscar W. Shofner and Alma Sidebottom Shofner, was born August 23, 1964, in Taylor County, KY. She died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 51 years, nine months, and 13 days.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She professed faith in Christ.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Adam Johns of Campbellsville, KY; and Eric Johns of Frankfort, KY

  • One brother: Larry Shofner and wife, Glenna of Campbellsville, KY

  • One niece: Brandi Graham and husband, Jody of Las Vegas, NE

  • One great-niece and one great-nephew: Sully Graham and Dayne Graham of Las Vegas, NV

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Bobby Shofner August 19, 2004 and Phyllis Sullivan July 24, 2013.
