Wayne Harmon, 42, Adair County, KY (1973-2016)

He was a native of Illinois and a resident of Christine, Adair County, Ky, at the time of his death. He attended Bloomington Chapel Church & had worked in Janitorial Services. He was the son of Sylvester Harmon and the late Dianne Crawhorn Harmon. His longtime companion, Sharon Austin, preceded him in death just 81 days earlier.

Wayne Harmon, age 42 years, of the Christine community, Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 8:45amCT, at his home.

Funeral service Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with clergy officiating Bro. Ralph Foster. Cremation will follow. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements. Visitation after 12pmNoonCT, Saturday, June 25, 2016.



Wayne Harmon, 42, Adair County, KY (1973-2016)

He was born on October 4, 1973 in Illinois. He was the son of Sylvester Harmon & the late Dianne Crawhorn Harmon of Columbia, KY. He died Thursday, June 23, 2016, in Christine, Adair County, KY, at the age of 42 years, eight months, and 19 days.

Besides his father, he is survived by the following:
  • One brother: Jason Harmon of Diamond, IL

  • One nephew: Jr. Harmon

  • One niece: Lily Harmon

  • A host of other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Benjamin Ray Harmon on January 14, 1981; Lilyann Opel Harmon, on August 17, 1972; and by his longtime companion Sharon Austin on April 3, 2016.

Wayne attended Bloomington Chapel Church & had worked in Janitorial Services.
