Ralph Edward Coffey, 64, of Jamestown, Ky died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.

Funeral service for Ralph Edward Coffey will be 1pmCT, Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Roger Garner officiating. Visitation after 5pmCT, Saturday, June 26, 2016. Interment in the Freedom Lawless Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Adam Coffey, Roger Dale Coffey, Ronnie Shearer Gary Shearer, Billy Newcom, and Scottie Weston.

He was born November 3, 1951 in Clinton County, KY. He was the son of the late Velmer & Anna Pearl Hammond Coffey. He died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 64 years, seven months, and 19 days.

He was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Coffey.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Ralph Edward Coffey, Jr. and his wife Wakako, Japan; and Roy Lee Coffey, and his wife Terri, Russell Springs, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • Fiance: Peggy Popplewell, Jamestown, KY

  • Four sisters: Sharlon Shearer, Louisville, KY; Mary Downey, Jamestown, KY; Kathy Weston, Jamestown, KY; and Carol Newcom, Jamestown, KY

  • Two brothers: Roger Coffey, Jamestown, KY; and Randall Coffey, Jamestown, KY
