Mrs. Lucille Scott, Cumberland Co., KY (1922-2016) She attended Dutch Creek United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was a native of Hoopeston, IL, and a resident of the Allen Creek Community, Cumberland County, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Anderson Dean and the widow of Caleb Crockett Scott. She leaves 41 direct living descendants spanning four generations. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at 1pmCT in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT, on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 until the funeral hour on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Dutch Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Lucille Scott, Cumberland Co., KY (1922-2016) She was born on Thursday, November 23, 1922, in Hoopeston, Vermilion County, IL, the daughter of George and Mary (Anderson) Dean. She died on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, having attained the age of 93 years, 6 months, and 26 days. She attended Dutch Creek United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Caleb Crockett Scott; her brothers, Dillard James, Leslie Earl Dean, and James Dean; and her sisters, Martha Huckleby, Betty Anderson, and Vela Warren.
