Gerald Thomas Scott, age 42 of Green County, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Green County.

The funeral services for Gerald Thomas Scott will be conducted at 1pmCT, Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Green County. Visitation is requested from 4:30pmCT until 8pmCT, Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.

He was born August 1, 1973. He was the son of Jerry Scott and Joyce Ann Edmond Scott, who survive. He died Wednesday, June 15, in Green County, KY, at the age of 42 years, 10 months, and 14 days.

He is survived by his wife: Shaun Hedgespeth Scott of Green County, KY, and tthe following.
  • His children: Cayden Hunter Scott, Layton Thomas Scott both of Green County, KY; Christopher Thomas Scott of Larue County, KY; and Keisha Lashae Wood of Campbellsville, KY

  • His parents: Jerry Scott and Joyce Ann Edmonds Scott of Summersville, KY

  • A sister: Angela Scott Dial of Green County, KY

  • Two brothers: Bro. Jerry Lynn Scott, and Joseph Keith Scott both of Green County, KY

  • Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund which can be made at the funeral home.
