Ron Hale age 73 years of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 2:45pmCT, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Ricardo Hughes. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Friday, June 17, 2016, at the funeral home.



Ron Hale, 73, Columbia, Adair Co., KY (1942-2016)


He was born on Saturday, September 26, 1942 in Columbia, Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Everett & Edna Hughes Hale. He died Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 73 years, eight months, and 20 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Coble Hale, on June 23, 2014.

In addition, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Hale; and three sisters, Bernice Velman, Beatrice Jessee and Ramona Rogers.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Ronnie Hale & his wife Pam of Columbia, KY; & Eric Hale and his wife, Nadine of Paris, KY.

  • One daughter: Deborah Hale of Paris, KY

  • One brother: Don C. Hale and his wife, Geraldine of Columbia, KY

  • Two half-brothers: Everett Hale Jr. and Larry Hale of Shepherdsville, KY

  • Half-sister: Brenda Hale of Louisville, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Jeremy Hale and wife Jiminy, Nicholas Hale and wife Heather, Tiffany McMinoway and husband Mike, Heather Hale, and Brittany Hale

  • Four great grandchildren: Adelyn McMinoway, Jace McMinoway, RyAnna Hale and Kinsley Hale

  • Several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives & friends.
Ron was a businessman in Adair County.
