Gerald T. Scott found stabbed to death in Green County

SUMMERSVILLE, KY (Wed 15 Jun 2016) – Post 15 Detectives are currently investigating the death of 42-year-old Gerald T. Scott of Summersville, KY.

The Green County Sheriff's Department requested assistance with the investigation this morning, at approximately 2:05amCT, after they were called to the residence of Willard E. Calhoun on Hudgins Hwy in Summersville.



Upon arrival, they discovered that Scott and Calhoun had been involved in a physical altercation which led to Scott's death from apparent stab wounds.


Calhoun, age 40, was charged with murder at 7:39amCT and released to the Green County Transportation officer and is lodged in the Taylor County Jail, Campbellsville, KY..

Detective Logan Richardson is investigating.
