Doug Franklin, age 57, of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 2pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. The family requests visitation on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 11amCT until service time at 2pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Doug Franklin, 57, Cumberland Co., KY (1959-2016)


He was born on January 17, 1959 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was the son of the l late Harold Franklin & Jean Booher Franklin. He died Sunday, May 29, 2016, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 57 years, three months, and 12 days.

He was a former repairman and a veteran of the United State Navy.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Samuel Kyle Franklin of Burkesville, KY

  • One daughter: Raelea Jean Franklin of Burkesville, KY

  • One sister: Sandy "Sam" Baugh of West Point, KY

  • One brother: Randy Franklin of West Point, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
