Mrs. Carolyn Franklin Jones, Green County, KY (1942-2016) She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. She was retired Deputy P.V.A from 1977 thru 2002, and a member of the Green County Gideon Camp Auxiliary where she had been past president. She was the daughter of the late Elzie Franklin and Gertie McKinney Franklin and the widow of Robbie H. Jones, her husband of over 52 years. She leaves seven direct living descendants. The funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Franklin Jones was conducted at 11amCT , Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial following in the Jones Family Cemetery. Bro. Meryl Young and C.W. Goff officiating. Visitation was from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Mike Jones, Seth Jones, Tim McDermott, Brennen Milby, and Jacob Buchanan. Mrs. Carolyn Franklin Jones, Green County, KY (1942-2016) Mrs. Carolyn Franklin Jones of the Little Barren Community of Green County, KY, the daughter of the late Elzie Franklin and Gertie McKinney Franklin, was born on Monday, July 16, 1942 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, TN, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at her home. She was 73 years, 10 months, and one day of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. She was retired Deputy P.V.A from 1977 thru 2002, and a member of the Green County Gideon Camp Auxiliary where she had been past president. She united in marriage to Robbie H.
