She was a retired cook at Lake Cumberland State Dock and a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church. She was born in Somerset, KY and was a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of Anna Norman, who survives, and the late Harold Norman.

Beverly "Bootie" Smith, 63, of Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service for Beverly "Bootie" Smith will be 2pmCT. Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Joe Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Saturday and after 11amCT, Sunday. Interment in the McBeath Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Josh Smith, Jason Smith, Ryan Smith, Jonathan Smith, Todd Barnes, John D. Bean, Steve Smith, Todd Stearns, and Gary Smith.

She was born February 26, 1953 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. She died Thursday, May 19, 2016, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at theage of 63 years, two months, and 23 days.

She was a retired cook at Lake Cumberland State Dock and a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Norman.

She is survived by:
  • Her mother: Anna Norman, of Russell Springs, KY

  • And host of aunts, uncles and cousins
