By Laura Marcum
Music teacher, Adair County Primary Center

Over the past two weeks, second grade students at the Adair County Primary Center have been performing and sharing what they have learned about different countries and places in our world.

Each classroom was assigned a different place to share about. The areas included: Canada, China, the Caribbean, England, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, and West Africa.

Each class performed a dance or musical selection associated with their location. Then they shared several facts about the location along with pictures shown on a big screen to go along with their facts. Teachers were also sent weblinks to explore more about each area when they were back in their classroom.
