By Ed Waggener Columbia city Council met in a special called session Monday, May 16, 2016 at 5pmCT to hear City Attorney Marshall Loy present a first reading of ordinance number 2016-01. Columbia Mayor Curtis D. Hardwick presiding and City Clerk Rhonda Loy acting as recorder. Council Members Craig Dean, Linda Waggener, Craig Lasley, Dr. Ron Rogers, and Mark D. Harris present. Councilman Charles Grimsley did not attend. Also in attendance were City Police Chief Jason Cross, members of the media; Shannon Sexton of Progress in Adair, and Citizen Chris Oliver. The second reading of this ordinance will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 5pmCT in City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. (Mayor Curtis D. Hardwick announced after the meeting that a complete copy of the ordinance may be examined at City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY.
