By Gaye Shaw

The Moving Vietnam Wall is now at Bowling Community Park, 1608 West Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY. The Wall will be there from May 12 through May 16, 2016. The Wall is open free to the public 24/7 with the exception of on Sunday from 2pm until 6pm when it is open exclusively for Veterans and their families.

The half size replica of the Wall located in Washington, D. C. travels across the United States to selected locations from April to October each year.

The Moving Vietnam Wall brings visitors from near and far to locate the name of his or her loved one or battle buddy. Thousands of people will have the opportunity to view the Wall during its four day stay at Bowling Park. The Wall will be lighted, guarded and opened around the clock during the stay.

The Moving Wall will give Vietnam Veterans and their families, school children, and the general public the opportunity to see this historical monument . Gaye Shaw is executive director of the Edmonton/Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce
