Personal Commentary

Is it possible that we are counting our chickens before they are hatched? We don't know that the county will even gain $70,000 in alcohol taxes per year.

The cost of the cruisers for the sheriffs department may need monies from other funds.

If we did gain $70,000 in alcohol sales tax, is the sheriff's department going to get 100% of that?

I believe there are other requirements for some of the income from sales.

Also, not allowing sales on Sundays will affect the bottom dollar.

Thank You. --Mark Hale
