RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY, (Mon 9 May 2016) - Russell County Coroner's Office and Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources are conducting an investigation into the death of a 52 year old female, Wendy L. Augustine, who was a resident of West Chester, OH.



She was pronounced dead at the scene, located at Lake Cumberland State Dock Marina, Jamestown, KY on Sunday, May 8 2016, at 3:33pmCT by Russell County Coroner Michael Reynolds.

An autopsy conducted on May 9, 2016 at the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort, KY determined the preliminary cause of death to be accidental drowning.

Toxicology results are still pending. Both agencies are still conducting a joint investigation into this incident. Further information will be provided at a later date.
