LWC women's tennis remains at No. 3 in NAIA Coaches' Top 25 By David Gerhart News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - For the eighth-straight poll, the Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team is ranked third in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Monday. The Blue Raiders grabbed 350 voting points this week as they are 18-4 heading into the national tournament. Cumberland (TN) slipped one spot to No. 18 in the poll as they are 12-8 on the season. The Phoenix earned 177 voting points. Georgetown (KY) held on to No. 25 in the poll after receiving 90 points in the poll. The Tigers hold a record of 18-8 this season. Cumberlands (KY) is the only team from the Mid-South Conference outside of the top 25, but still receiving votes. The Patriots received 12 points this week as they are six spots outside of the top 25. Georgia Gwinnett remained atop the poll with 11 first-place votes and 372 points. After being tied with the Grizzlies in the last poll, Auburn Montgomery slipped to No. 2 with the final three first-place votes and 364 points. SCAD Savannah (GA) remained at No. 4 in the poll with 338 points, while Brenau (GA) moved into the top five this week with 321 voting points.
