By Charles Balcom

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team continued their hold on the No. 3 position in the latest NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top-25 Poll, the national office announced on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

The Blue Raiders collected 350 total voting points and have been ranked No. 3 since the preseason coaches' poll.

Lindsey Wilson is currently 18-4 on the year and is a perfect 16-0 against NAIA competition this season. The Blue Raiders have won 11-straight matches and captured both the Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament crowns.

Lindsey Wilson trails just Auburn-Montgomery (AL) and Georgia Gwinnett in the poll. Both the WarHawks and Grizzlies are tied for the No. 1 spot in this week's poll with each team receiving 368 voting points and seven first-place votes.

Joining the Blue Raiders in the poll from the MSC are Cumberland (TN) at No. 17 and Georgetown (KY) at No. 25.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action for the NAIA National Championships.
