She was a native of Creelsboro, Russell County, KY and a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Eula Margaret Shearer Flatt. She leaves five direct living descendants.

Janice F. Wooldridge, 72, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at 9:12pmET, at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY There will be a Gathering of Friends from 1pmCT until 7pmCT, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY.


Janice F. Wooldridge, Russell County, KY (1943-2016)

She was born August 29, 1943, in Creelsboro, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Eula Margaret Shearer Flatt. She died Monday, April 25, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 72 years, six months, and 27 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings; Clayton & Cora Maude Flatt.

Janice was a licensed LPN and worked at Summit Manor Nursing Home for 40 years.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Anthony (Amanda) Wooldridge of Lawrenceburg, KY

  • Two daughters: Alisa (Jim) Ware of Indianapolis and Kelly Smith of Breeding, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Jacob Ware and Ashley Wildrick

  • One great-grandchild: Julie Ware

  • Her "fur babies":Toby, Moochie, Thumper, Little Sam, Sadie Jane and Sprinkles Several other relatives and friends
