Free tipping on Saturday was a huge success. Over 32 tons were delivered to the Transfer Station, 877 L. Willis Road, Columbia, KY on Friday and a little over 38.5 tons on Saturday, for a total of around 71 tons of trash brought in in the two days of free tipping for Adair County residents.

Free Tipping was sponsored by Adair Fiscal Court - CJE Mike Stephens, Magistrates Harold Burton (District 1), Daryl Flatt (2), Sammy Baker (1), Perry Reeder (4), Billy Dean Coffey (5), Greg Caldwell (6), and Terry Hadley (7). Charlie Crawhorn, Adair County Solid Waste Coordinator

Harold Burton one of first Adair Countians at Free Tipping Day

First District Magistrate Harold Burton was one of the first to arrive Friday morning, April 22, 2016, at the Transfer Station to get rid of trash on Free Tipping Day. In two days, nearly 72 tons of trash was hauled away from Adair County homes and businesses during the spring clean up event. - Charlie Crawhorn, Adair County Solid Waste Coordinator.
