Dotta Jean Shields Burbridge, age 81 of Edmonton, KY, went to be with her Lord on April 23, 2016 at Signature Health Care in Horse Cave, KY.

She was a faithful believer in the doctrine of God.

A private service will be held later, as cremation was chosen.

Born in Baileysville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Ruby Shannon Shields and the wife of Steven Burbridge who survives.

She was an underwriter in the insurance industry.

  • One brother: Donald Shields of Anderson, IN.
In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by one sister.
