Micheal Shreve, 60,, of Casey County, KY passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services are 12pmCT/1pmET Monday, April 25, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET at the funeral home and will continue Monday from 7amCT/8amET until funeral service.



Micheal Shreve, 60, Casey County, KY (1955-2016)

Born October 25, 1955 in Casey County, he is the son of Mitchel Thomas Shreve and Lila "Nellie" Clements Rodgers. He died Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 60 years, five months, and 26 days. He was a self-employed logger and attended the Pine Grove Community Church.

  • His father: Mitchel Thomas (and Sandy) Shreve of Campbellsville

  • His mother: Lila "Nellie" Rodgers of Liberty, KY

  • His wife: Edna Followell Shreve

  • One daughter: Tana Michelle Shreve of Mannsville, KY

  • Three brothers: Jimmy (and Vanessa) Shreve of Campbellsville; Mitchell(and Amanda) Eads and Gary (Jessica) Rodgers, both of Liberty

  • Seven sisters: Kathy Hearon of Campbellsville, KY; Shannon Castillo of Columbia, kY; Kay Lee of Dunnville, KY; Ledia (Dallas) Patten of Liberty, KY; Brenda Williamson of Liberty, KY; Lori Rawlings of Campbellsville, KY; and Jeannie Tungate of Lexington, KY.

  • Special friend: Peggy Long, of Liberty.
He is preceded in death by step-father, James Carrell Rodgers; brother, Marcus Shreve; and sister, Cleta Marie Rodgers.
