Arvil Ray Price of Dunnville, KY passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Casey County Hospital. He was 76.

Funeral services are at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Mt. Calvary Community Church, 11633 S Highway 127 Dunnville, KY, with Bro. Clifford DeHart and Bro. Josh Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Contown Cemetery. Visitation is Friday after 5pmCT/6pmET, at Mt. Calvary Community Church.



Arvil Ray Price, Dunnville, KY, Adair native (1939-2016)

Born July 20, 1939 in Columbia, KY, he is the son of the late Thorny and Mae Price. He died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 76 years, eight months, and 30 days.

He was a farmer, sawmill worker, and a member of the Mt. Calvary Community Church. Arvil was a dedicated father.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Randy Price and Charles (and Lisa) Price both of Dunnville, KY

  • Three daughters: Brenda Knight and Polly Mills, both of Dunnville, KY; and Laura Jean McDonald of Liberty, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Four great-grandchildren

  • A sister: Katherine Owens of Elizabethtown, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, F.D. Price, Jr.; two brothers, Preston and Roy; and three sisters, Pauline, Geneva and Lois.
