He was a native of Casey County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of his death. He was a member of a very large, widely known family. He was the son of the late Phyllis Pauline Fox and Estil Fox. He leaves 52 direct and three step living descendants.

Jerry Fox, of Russell Springs, Kentucky passed away on Monday April 11, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be at 6pmCT, Saturday April 16, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, Kentucky. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunshine Road, Russell Springs, Kentucky. Visitation will be Saturday April 16, 2016 3pm-6pmCT, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, Kentucky.



Jerry Fox, 64, Russell Co., KY (1951-2016)

He was born Sunday August 26, 1951 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late Phyllis Pauline Fox and Estil Fox. He died Monday, April 11, 2016, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 64 years, seven months, and 17 days.

He was a Mason.

He is also survived by:
  • His wife: Carolyn Fox of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three step sons: Daniel Gosser, Russell Springs, Kentucky; Shane Walters and wife Barbara, Russell Springs, Kentucky; and Darrin Walters and wife Melinda, Columbia, Kentucky

  • One daughter: Latisha Sears, Burkesville, Kentucky

  • Two sons: Erick Fox and wife Krista, Russellville, Arkansas; and Jerry Wayne Fox and wife Terri, Russellville, Arkansas

  • Three sisters: Sue Singleton, Liberty, Kentucky;Gay Perkins, Faubush, Kentucky; and Jane Medford and husband Steve, Alexandria, Kentucky

  • Three brothers: Mike Fox and wife Liz, Russell Springs, Kentucky; Bill Fox, Somerset, Kentucky; and Larry Foxx, Liberty, Kentucky

  • Twenty-seven grandchildren

  • Twenty-two great-grandchildren
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Fox; sisters, Lena Fox, Judy Pendleton; step-son, Stancy Gosser and step-daughter Quincy Gosser.
