Janice D. Bailey, Adair Co., KY native (1941-2016) She was a former member of The Bible Church and a current member of Lawrence Apostolic Church. She was the daughter the late William B. and Ada Florence Simpson Cowan and the widow of James Tyler Bailey, Sr, her husband of 43 years. She leaves 25 direct living descendants. She was a resident of Indianapolis, IN at the time of her death. Her final resting place with be at Bearwallow, Adair County, KY. Janice D. Bailey, 74 of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, April 8, 2016. Funeral service at 6pmCT/7pmET, Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. Visiting will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 2pm-6pmCT/3pm-7pmET, until time for service. A graveside service and committal will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 1pmCT/2pmET, the Bearwallow Cemetery, 6132 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Janice D. She passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, on Friday, April 8, 2016, at the age of 74 years, four months, and 22 days. Janice married James Tyler Bailey Sr. August 4, 1962 and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2005. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Janice is survived by:
