Dr. James E. Monin, 87, Jamestown, KY, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amCT, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Scott Russell officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, Glendale, KY.



Dr. James E. Monin, 87, Jamestown, KY (1928-2016)

Dr. Monin was born August 2, 2016, in Glendale, Hardin County, KY. He was the son of the late Harvey Monin and the late Martha Eula Worthington Monin. He died Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 87 years, seven months, and 25 days.

He was a physician.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Monin, and the following:
  • Daughter: Morinda Bosler, Constine, MI

  • Step daughter: Arlene Whitaker, Somerset, KY

  • Step son: Ronnie Hall, Somerset, KY

  • Sister: Martha Bieghle, Florence, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Three step grandchildren

  • Four step grandchildren
The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
