Mr. Freddie Thomas Wilson, 68, of Columbia, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital, after a lifetime battle with several illnesses.

There was a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wilson on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 9amCT/10amET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Jody Perkins officiating. Interment is in the Callahan Cemetery, 4571 Speck Ridge Road (Adair County), Elk Horn, KY. Visitation was at the funeral home on Friday, March 25, from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET.

Mr. Freddie Thomas Wilson of Columbia, Adair County, KY, was born on Tuesday, October 21, 1947 in Taylor County to the late Samson Grady and Julie Ann (Hughes) Wilson. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, after a lifetime battle with several illnesses. He was 68 years, 5 months, and 2 days of age.

He leaves to carry his memory:
  • One brother: Kenneth Wilson of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Imogene Raisor and husband Billy of Frankfort, KY

  • Nieces and nephews: Cozetta Thompson of Campbellsville, KY; Rosetta Stotts and husband Larry of Columbia, KY; Leo Thompson of Campbellsville, KY; Doug Thompson of North Carolina; Ricky Farmer and Marvin Farmer, both of Arkansas; Angie Gail Cox and husband Terry of Campbellsville, KY; Dean Wilson of Campbellsville, KY; and Dennis Wilson and Sherry Edwards and husband Dave, all of Elizabethtown, KY

  • And a host of other family and close friends
