Maxine Foley Cook, 95, of Whiteland, IN (formerly of Russell Co) died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Homeview Health & Rehab Center in Franklin, Indiana.

Graveside service for Maxine Foley Cook will be 12pmNoonCT, Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Dunbar Cemetery in Jamestown, KY, with Rev. Carroll Egnew officiating. Visitation will be at 11:30amCT, Friday at the Cemetery.


Maxine Foley Cook, 95, Russell Co., KY (1920-2016)

She was born September 20, 1920 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ira & Alla Pearl Hawkins Foley. She died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, in Franklin, Johnson County, IN, at the age of 95 years, five months, and 25 days.

She was a factory worker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cook; a son, Bruce Miller; a grandson, Roger Pitzer; a sister, Marie Ewing; and three brothers, Phillip, Roy, and Eldon Foley.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Barbara Jean (Phil) Pitzer, Whiteland, IN

  • Two grandchildren: Donna Esque, Sherri Pitzer

  • Four great grandchildren: Clarissa, Briana, Alanna, April

  • A sister: Cleda Paynter

  • Two brothers: Oval (Norma) Foley, Russell Springs, KY; and Ron (Joy) Foley, Indiana
