Tennessee man charged with attempted murder in Clinton fire

In addition to three counts of attempted murder, he faces charges of Arson 1st Degree, 3 counts of Wanton Endangerment, and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree

ALBANY, KY (Thu 24 Mar 2016) - 28-year-old Ricky Lee York, of Celina TN, was arrested on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the limits of Albany, KY. York was charged with Arson 1st Degree, 3 counts of Wanton Endangerment, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and 3 counts of Attempted Murder.



York was charged in connection to a residential fire that occurred on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 77 Old Ky Road in Clinton County. Three persons were at home in the residence at the time of the fire. No one was injured. The home was a total loss.

York is lodged with no bond, in the Clinton County Jail. The investigation is ongoing. Post 15 Arson Investigator Alex Wesley is investigating.

Issuance of warrants and/or arrests are not findings of guilt. An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
