Douglas Coy Wolford passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Clementsville, KY. He was 70 years old.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5075 KY 551, Liberty, KY (Clementsville) with Father Edmond Ani officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Visitation is 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Friday, March 25, 2016, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Prayer at 7amCT/8amET.

Douglas Coy Wolford, Casey County, KY (1946-2016)

Born January 1, 1946 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Coy and Hilda Keith Wolford. He died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in Clementsville, Casey County, KY, at the age of 70 years, two months, and 21 days.

He was the co-owner of Wolford-Wethington sawmill for over 40 years. Doug was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church. He was president of Clementsville Motor Sports since 1994.

Survivors include
  • his beloved wife, Sandy Wethington Wolford, whom he married October 23, 1965;

  • A son, Keith Wolford of Liberty

  • Two daughters, Terri (and Tim) Hatter of Liberty and Melinda Becker of Louisville

  • Four grandchildren

  • Three sisters, Priscilla Ann (and Gerry) Pugh of Cincinnati, Ohio, Margaret (and Leslie) Stewart of Milan, Indiana, and Mona Angeline (and Harris) Marples of Powell, Ohio
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Danny Wolford.
