Hilda Parrish Phillips, age 75 of Beaumont died March 22, 2016 at the TJ Samson Hospital, Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amCT, Friday March 25, 2016 at the Beaumont United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Parrish homeplace. Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 5pmCT till 8pmCT at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, and 8am-11amCT, Friday, at the Beaumont Church.

Hilda Parrish Phillips, 75, Beaumont, KY (1940-2016)

She was born, May 4, 1940 in Beaumont, Metcalfe County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Travis Lee and Mary Eunice Goodhue Parrish. She died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 10 months, and 18 days.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include:
  • Her twin sister: Helen Parrish Johnson

  • One sister in law: Anis Parrish

  • And several nieces and nephews
Preceding her death was her husband Glen Phillips of Texas; four brothers, John Will Parrish, Dallas (Cotton) Parrish, Curtis Parrish and Allen (Whitey) Parrish, and a sister Bernice Parrish.
