Austin was a member of the Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a student at Edmonton Middle School and a former student of Adair County Middle School. He was a former saxophone player and member of the Adair County High School Marching Band and was a part of the 2015 State and National Band Championships

Austin Bryant age 14 years of Columbia, Kentucky died Monday, March 21, 2016 at his home.

Funeral service will be Friday, March 25, 2016 at 1pmCT, at the Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church 124 Weed Keltner Road, Columbia, KY. Bro. Rusty Brown will officiate. Interment will be in Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road, Adair Co., KY. The family request visiting after 3:30pmCT, Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.

He was born Friday, February 15, 2002 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. He died Monday, March 21, 2016, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 14 years, one month, and six days.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother Lacona Huff Bryant; maternal great grandparents, Refus and Geneva Lewis Morrison; great aunt, uncle and cousins, Mike and Rochelle Akin and Sarah Morrison, Kason and Lathan Morrison.

He is survived by the following:
  • His father: Jason Bryant and wife Lyndsay of Columbia, KY

  • His mother: Robin Morrison Branham & husband Wesley of Columbia, KY

  • Four brothers: Riley Bryant of Edmonton, KY; Jake Bryant of Columbia, KY; Baron Burton of Columbia, KY; and Aaron Branham of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Jessica Nuszbaum of Columbia, KY

  • His paternal grandmother: Debbie Bryant and grandfather Randall Bagby of Greensburg, KY

  • Maternal grandparents: Rocky and Sharon Akin Morrison of Edmonton, KY

  • Paternal great grandfather: Walker Bryant of Columbia, KY

  • Maternal great grandparents: Finley and Reba Moore Akin of Edmonton, KY

  • Aunts and uncles: Latasha Rooks of Campbellsville, KY; Chad and Angie Morrison of Edmonton, KY

  • Cousins: Katelyn & Emilee Morrison, and Jamison Ford
