Local Option Election Mar 2016: 277 vote absentee on machine 81 more mail-in ballots received for a total of 358 absentees with a few more mail in ballots possible tomorrow. The vote by absentee machine deadline is past By Ed Waggener At 3:57pmCT, Mon 21 March 2016, three minutes before the voting deadine, a total of 277 had voted by absentee voting machine in the Adair County Clerk's Office, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY for the the Local Option Election to be voted countywide from 6am-6pmCT, Tuesday, March 22, 2016. The machine vote is in addition to the mail in ballots, totaling 81 at the same time. Clerk Lisa Greer said that mail-in votes will be counted if received at her office by 4pmCT, Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
