Residential structure fire contained, but building has heavy smoke damage

From the Taylor County Fire Department

The Taylor Co. Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on property owned by Terry Gardner, at 198 Honeysuckle Lane, Campbellsville, KY on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at 8:52amET.

Upon arrival, firefighters found fire in the basement laundry room that had extended to the 1st floor of the residence. The fire was contained to one end of the residence, however the entire structure sustained heavy smoke damage throughout. The occupants were not at home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.

The TCFD was assisted by The Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS. There wer 21 firefighters and three apparatuses on the scene.
