16th Annual Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt a big success By Brandy Held Our 16th Annual Adair Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, March 19, 2016 was a huge success. I enjoy organizing this event for the sweet babies of our wonderful community. I hope to have the privilege to do so for many years to come, but I, nor the Jaycees could hold events like these without the generosity of the citizens of Adair County, those individuals holding public offices, and local businesses. Each of these people/businesses made donations to our egg hunt. Pam Shearer, Greg Thomas, Alice Faye Davidson, Ellen Harriet, Compton Hadley, Bettys Country Cooking, Lisa Greer/Adair Co. Clerk, Anita Clark, Betty Stotts, Jennifer Hutchinson-Corbin/County Attorney, Harold Burton/Magistrate District 1, Harrison Moss/Sheriff, John Thomas & Anderson's Pizzeria, and Billy Pickett. This county never ceases to amaze me in how they come together to enrich the lives of the citizens who live here. Once again, it is with a blessed heart that I say Thank you! And for those who attended our hunt, if you see these people, or visit these businesses, give them a thank you, without them we could not hold these events.
