Bill Huckaby, 76, Columbia, KY (1939-2016)

He was a builder. He was a member of a large, close knit, South Central Kentucky family. He was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of late Cecil (Bryant) & Hobert Huckaby. His wife Sharlet Huckaby, Columbia, KY survives.

Bill Huckaby, 76, of Columbia, KY passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. The family chose care and cremation.



Bill Huckaby, 76, Columbia, KY (1939-2016)

Bill was born in Columbia, Adair County, KY on June 11, 1939, a son of the late Cecil (Bryant) and Hobert Huckaby. He died Friday, March 18, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY at the age of 76 years, nine months, and seven days.
He was a builder.

Bill is survived by the following:
  • His wife: Sharlet Huckaby, of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Darrell and Mark Huckaby, of Florida

  • Three step-sons: Shane Flatt, of Columbia, KY; and Chris and Jason Flatt both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Sister: Jean Terry, of Columbia, KY

  • Four brothers Russell Huckaby, of Russell Springs, KY: and Randy, Rick and Raymond Huckaby all of Columbia, KY

  • Several grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Tim Huckaby, and two brothers, Roger and Rodney Huckaby.

The family chose care and cremation.
