Geraldine Goodman, Yosemite, KY (1944-2016)

She was a former employee of Beau Brummel Tie Factory and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. She was a native of Grundy County, TN, and a resident of Casey County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the widow of Bobby Gerald Goodman. She leaves seven direct living descendants.

Geraldine Goodman, age 71, of Yosemite, KY, passed away on Tuesday March 15th, 2016 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pmCT/3pmET, Saturday March 19, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Danny Yaden and Bro. Marvin Rose officiating. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of Yosemite Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 11amCT/12pmCT, Saturday March 19, 2016 Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born in Tracy City, Grundy County, TN on Friday, May 26, 1944 to the late Henry Leon and Nancy Esther Irvin Sanders. Geraldine Goodman, age 71, of Yosemite, KY, passed away on Tuesday March 15, 2016 in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 71 years, nine months, and 18 days.

She was a former employee of Beau Brummel Tie Factory and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.

Geraldine was the widow of Bobby Gerald Goodman.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Juanita and (Ricky) Simpson of Yosemite, KY; and Melissa Gay Walls of Liberty, KY

  • One son: Kevin Ray and (Rachel) Goodman of Yosemite, KY

  • Four grandchildren

  • One great grandchild

  • One brother: Joseph Neuman Sanders of Butler, KY

  • Four sisters: Sylvia Francene Burton of Ft. Thomas, KY; Phyllis Carlene Fults of Monteagle, TN; Debra Marcelene Schabell of Grants Lick, KY; and Peggi Joy Gwenavene Spradlin of Silver Grove, KY
Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was one brother: Samuel Truman Sanders.
