KSP Post 15 Activity Report February 2016 Three fatalities in post territory in February, one each in Casey, Metcalfe, and Taylor Counties. Total number of traffic deaths in Post 15 area and in the state are down from same period last year, year to date Click on headline for complete report By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY (06 Mar 2016) - During the month of February 2016, there were 27 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were three fatal collisions during the month of February in the Post 15 area:
Statewide fatality count stands at 95 compared with 107 through this same period in 2015. During the month of February 2016, there were 914 citations written, 85 courtesy notices written, 1013 vehicles inspected, 527 complaints answered, 117 motorists assisted, 45 criminal cases opened and 141 criminal arrests made.
