LCADD Presents Open Records Training in Liberty, KY By Judy Hachey On March 16, 2016, the Lake Cumberland Area Development District will present a training program entitled Understanding Open Meetings, Open Records, and Records Management: What You Don't Know Can Hurt You. The training will take place 8am-3pmCT/9pm-4pmET, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Casey County Ag Expo Center, 678 South Wallace Wilkinson Blvd, Liberty, KY. The training fee is $12 and includes course materials, boxed lunch and refreshments. The program is designed for city and county officials, public agency employees or representatives, Lake Cumberland Area Development District board members, special purpose governmental entities (SPGEs) and education administrators. County Officials Training Program and KLC City Officials Training Center credits can be earned. Training instructors include: Amye L Bensenhaver, JD, Assistant Attorney General, Kentucky Office of the Attorney General; Beth Shields, Manager: Electronic Records Management Branch, Kentucky Dept. for Libraries and Archives; Trace Kirkwood, Manager: Local Records Program, Kentucky Dept. for Libraries and Archives; and Kris Justus, Electronic Records Manager, Kentucky Dept. for Libraries and Archives. Pre-registration and payment is required to participate in the 2016 LCADD Training Program.
