Mark Selby, Wet/Dry comment: Wake up, church!

Response to: Comments re article 81397 Shannon Sexton Writing as individual not as chair of PAC

By Mark Selby

Thank You, Shannon

If I can address the Christians that are commenting on the legal sale of alcohol to be voted on in Adair County:

As a Christian, the Bible says to obey the laws of the land so if that be the case then why do we allow bootleggers to operate here in Adair County.

As Christians, we then blame others like law enforcement, the courts or whomever for not doing their job.

What about us? If you do not drink alcohol, then don't buy it. But why would you permit it to be sold by our neighbors illegally and to minors.

If you want to change the morality of Adair, Get up and Share the Gospel, change hearts and see what God will do.

Don't sit in judgement of others and let government do your job. Wake up, Church --Mark Selby
