Most District 8 roads in decent shape Wed 17 Feb 2016

District Crews plowed throughout the night, with mostly wet pavement.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 8 is responsible for maintaining approximately 5,209 lanes miles throughout Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell and Wayne counties.

SOMERSET, KY (5amCT/6amET, Wed 17 Feb 2016) -Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 crews plowed throughout the night and report that routes are in decent shape this morning with mostly wet pavement. Crews continue to work on clearing routes this morning pushing back shoulders, clearing intersections and spot treating areas.



Motorists are reminded that if traveling to use caution, take it slow and allow yourself extra time to reach your destination.

Road condition updates are available by calling 511 or by logging onto the 511 traffic and travel information website, 511.ky.gov.. KYTC District 8 serves the counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell and Wayne.
