LWC Chapter, Criminal Justice Honor Society, inducts four

New members:Joshua Finley, James Flint, Joseph Metcalfe, and Rayce Thornbury

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society inducted four new members Tuesday night, February 16, 2016, at the college's Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center.



Alpha Phi Sigma recognizes academic excellence among criminal justice undergraduate and graduate students as well as juris doctorate students. The honor society's goals are to promote academic excellence, community service, educational leadership and unity.

Since April 2011, the LWC chapter has inducted 57 members into the criminal justice honor society. In addition to encouraging scholarship, the LWC chapter also sponsors community service activities, including an annual book drive for the Adair County Library.BR>
The four new members inducted Tuesday night, were: Joshua Finley of Burkesville, KY; James Flint of Brandon, FL; Joseph Metcalfe of Burkesville, KY; and Rayce Thornbury of Newburgh, IN. The chapter adviser is Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Michael Giordano.
