News from Band of Brothers, Columbia Christian Church

A couple weeks ago, right after the last storm, I saw an article about a church in Adair County that had it's roof cave in in the last heavy storm. It is the Hungry House Ministry that met in a large building (the old chicken fighting and goat sales building) off of Allen School House Road.

It is huge and the outside walls are straight, it's just the weight of the snow crashed in the roof onto the church floor smashing the pulpit and making a wet mess.

Our church's men's group called the Band of Brothers went and surveyed the damage and will be helping them to dry-in a front area and clean up on this Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 8amCT.

I wanted to let the community know so that anyone and everyone who would like to help this relatively unknown church could join us.

The minister's name is Ronnie Rhodes and he has been there for 12 years.

The address of the church is 5354 Allen Schoolhouse Road, Columbia, KY. I have enclosed a couple of pictures and if anyone has questions they can call my cell at 270-585-2064.
