Jack Langham, 90, Liberty, KY (1926-2016)

He was a native of Owosso, MI, and a resident of Liberty, KY at the time of his death. His wife of 68 years, JoAnn, survives. He leaves 26 direct living descendants. He was an optician for over 50 years. He enjoyed collecting an extensive library of books for Bible education as well as outdoor activities, fishing being one of his favorites. Jack served as an elder in the christian congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for decades.

Jack Leroy Langham of Liberty, KY passed away Friday February 12, 2016 at his home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 119 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY.


Jack Langham, 90, Liberty, KY (1926-2016)


He was 90 years old, born January 13, 1926 in Owosso, Shiawassee County, MI. He was the son of the late Delmer Langham and Vera Joy. He died Friday, February 12, 2016, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 90 years, one month, and one day. He was an optician for over 50 years. He enjoyed collecting an extensive library of books for Bible education as well as outdoor activities, fishing being one of his favorites. Jack served as an elder in the christian congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for decades.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 68 years, JoAnn, and the following:
  • Two sons: James Langham (Margarita) of Staffordsville, KY; and Joel Langham (Rose) of Harrodsburg, KY

  • One daughter: Jamie Larson (Eric) of Liberty, KY

  • Nine grandchildren
  • Fourteen great-grandchildren
  • Two great-great-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by both friends and family.
