Mike Keltner: EMD urges Adair Countians to stay off roads

By Mike Keltner, Adair Co. EMD
As expected this snowfall coming in an extended period is creating difficulties for our road crews. Until the snowfall stops or slows progress will be hindered. Our State and County Road Crews, Emergency Personnel, and Officials are working diligently and provisions are established for road crews to assist response of emergency personnel to life treating emergencies and fires. While we anticipate a change from snow to rain on Monday and a resolution to this incident, we will remain vigilant until the last flake melts. As history has shown Adair Countians play a crucial role in assisting their friends, neighbors, and relatives, for that we thank you. We urge you to stay off the roadways until this snow incident has fully resolved and contact 911 for emergencies.
