I agree with your comments, even though I have not actually checked the "facts" myself, but it seems you left out one very important fact. What percentage of these crimes occurred in wet counties, and what percentage occurred in so called dry counties? I moved from Russell Springs to Elizabethtown two and a half years ago, where it is wet, and even though I have not actually checked the so called statistics, it seems percentage wise for the population, there's a lot less crime here. - Steve Grider
