Response to: Comments re article 81008 Michael Regan Will vote to keep dark genie in the bottle By Shannon Sexton, Chair, PAC (Progress in Adair County Personal Commentary With all due respect, your commentary revolves around fatalities of teenage drivers in alcohol related accidents. The legal age to purchase alcohol in a wet county is 21. Businesses will not jeopardize their investment and license by selling to underage teens. Where are these teens getting alcohol? I would suspect illegally from the bootlegger - the same place they've purchased it for years. Legalize it, regulate it and control it.
